Baba Hari Dass' translations have special meaning for me because, during COVID shelter-in-place restrictions - in 2020 and 2021, I completed online yoga certification programs at Mount Madonna Institute. Babaji founded a spiritual community in the Santa Cruz Mountains of northern California and the courses were taught by his students and his students' students. The 200 and 300 hour programs enroll lots of yoga teachers and potential yoga teachers, but I enrolled to deepen my personal practice. I experienced spiritual growth - and 'finding ease' - during a global pandemic when the Yoga Sutras were paired with educational classes. Teachers also referenced Edwin Bryant's translations.
